Our merino wool comes from farms where mulesing are not allowed. All our merino wool is traceable back to the farm where it comes from. This helps to ensure that the animals are treated well. Our merino wool is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certified and manufactured in Italy under strict ethical and environmental standards.
Wool from merino sheep is considered the finest type of wool, and it is characteristics by its thin and fine structure that ensures that the wool is soft and doesn’t itch on our skin. The fibers lay closely together and are naturally crimped in shape. This ensures that the wool can keep the body temperature warm in cold weather and in the same way release body heat in warm weather. In other words, merino wool is temperature regulating.
