The warm scent of cedar wood is an excellent natural remedy for keeping your wool sweaters safe from moths and other parasites, while also absorbing moisture and unwanted odors.
Cedar wood is delicately aromatic and creates a pleasant smell but over time the little hearts will lose their scent and therefore their natural repellent ability. To restore the scent, rub them gently with fine sandpaper.
Store the little hearts between your sweaters but avoid direct contact with them (for example, place them inside small fabric bags to prevent the wood oil from leaving stains)
